This event is going to be HUGE. Our rallies and marches have grown from 15,000 (Hands Off) to >20,000 (No Kings 1) to >35,000 (No Kings 2). We are planning for 50,000 people or more for No Kings 3. We believe that this will be the biggest protest event in New Mexico’s history and probably the largest protest event in US history. We want all of you to be there and be part of this.
The location is Montgomery Park 5510 Ponderosa Ave NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110. We will gather at 11:00a Mountain Time to hear speakers followed by a march.
We have a large planning team comprised of many groups (Indivisible groups, youth groups, PSL, Sierra Club, 50501, Third Act, and many others). In the near future we will be soliciting volunteers for many jobs (safety and security, medical, parade marshals, and many others). But, IN THE MEANTIME…
This event is going to be expensive. We will likely have to rent a bunch of buses to transport people as parking is limited in any of the locations that we are looking at. In addition, we will need a large sound system, a stage, many porta potties, water stations – you get the picture. We NEED your help in financing this. Any amount is welcome, but if you care about this cause, please dig deep and help us out as much as you can. Also, we will spend money soon, so don’t delay in donating.
